My expectations
I have a Fidelity brokerage account because of the company that I work and vest stocks every month. There I see that I can buy stocks from different companies and index funds and or ETF. What is not 100% clear for me is the difference between the index fund and ETF. I saw that there is index funds and ETF basically for the same tpo 500 companies and the % return are basically the same. So I now I dont know which one would be a better option take into account that I have the Fidelity account already.

Can i ask something without getting judged? I've spent almost two years trying to figure this out.
